‘FOR THE LOVE OF GOD’
For the Love of God is a long-term documentary project exploring one of the most enduring and universal dimensions of human society—faith. Found in every era and every corner of the world, religion remains deeply woven into our social, cultural, and emotional existence. With an estimated 10,000 practiced religions worldwide, its presence is vast, complex, and profoundly influential.
This series reflects on the ways people experience and express belief, questioning how we define reality and how our perceptions are shaped by the lives we lead. As photographers, if we live with faith, witness it, and see how individuals face the challenges of nature, community, and daily life through belief, then photographing faith becomes not an observation—but an authentic act of understanding.
For the Love of God also considers the timeless parallel between art and religion. Both require belief to exist. Just as the sacred cannot be understood without the profane, and good cannot be defined without evil, art too needs a shared sense of meaning and introspection to resonate.
While the role of religion is often debated—its necessity, value, or relevance—it remains a powerful force in shaping human identity, culture, and the world we inhabit. This series seeks to document that presence with honesty, curiosity, and respect, offering a visual exploration of faith as a lived experience.
The photographs were created across multiple cities, including Paris (France), Naples (Italy), Los Angeles (USA), Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), and Mexico City (Mexico)
